Lisa Weil is a CFP® Professional and Principal of Clarity Northwest in Seattle, WA. She founded her hourly financial planning practice in 2013 and joined the Garrett Planning Network in 2014. Lisa is a career changer with over 14 years’ experience in market strategy and business planning. She started her career working in corporate account marketing at IBM in New York City. Following business school, she moved west to Seattle, WA to work in various product management roles at Microsoft. As a result of her own experiences and frustrations as a client of the financial services industry, Lisa ultimately decided to switch gears and return to school to earn a Certificate in Financial Planning. She founded her practice with the goal of providing independent, Fee Only, hourly financial planning, helping clients like herself sift through the jargon and cut through the complexity. Lisa has a BA from Wellesley College and an MBA from Harvard. Still, the badge she wears most proudly is that of mom to her (grown and flown..) daughter Carrie.
